One Health. A World of Opportunities.
The Department of Pathobiology and Veterinary Science focuses on exploring the interconnection between animal, human, and environmental health. This is the foundation of the One Health concept. We provide students with an inclusive, supportive environment that prepares them for whatever their future holds. If you have your sights set on a graduate degree, you’ll be ready to succeed with a degree in Pathobiology. Our faculty and advisors provide personalized guidance to help you attain your goals. Pathobiology majors also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience at an R1 research institution alongside our internationally recognized faculty in areas like virology and vaccines, respiratory infections, bacterial pathogenesis, and anatomic pathology.
